Lending Code

Banking
You must be over 18 to bank with N&P. Any overdraft we offer you will depend on your circumstances. We use a credit scoring system when reviewing your application.
Insurance
We can put customers who need insurance in touch with Norwich and Peterborough Insurance Brokers Limited (NPIB, as a subsidiary of Yorkshire Building Society) who are fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Travel insurance
Any travel insurance provided through NPIB is underwritten by AXA Insurance UK Plc. AXA Insurance UK Plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. NPIB and AXA Insurance UK Plc are not members of the same group of companies.
Share Dealing
N&P offer a share dealing service, trading in a wide range of UK and international stocks. You have the choice of a telephone or internet based account. This service is provided for N&P customers by Jarvis Investment Management Ltd (Jarvis).
Both N&P, which is a trading name of Yorkshire Building Society, and Jarvis are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and are members of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
